Biiko's Automagic was recorded at Mystery Street Recording Company after his graduation from Columbia College Chicago in 2012. Quickly making its way across the Chicago indie music scene, Automagic manages to encapsulate a brief synopsis of what it means to be one of the Windy City's youth. The new EP also includes a song entitled "First Breath" which boasts a feature from Chicago's Netherfriends (a fan favorite at national festivals such as Pitchfork Music Festival and SXSW). The duo met after a show at local venue Schuba's Tavern, and went on to record the hit that summer. Working closely with Columbia College Chicago's AEMMP Records, the first student-run label in the U.S., Automagic has struck a whimsical chord with Biiko fans that continues to reverberate to the ears of new music lovers.
